I have some exciting news, our Temple Holding Corporation web site is now up and running. You may access it here. What will you find there?

Rob Snell and Luis Gonzales have been setting up the site with information on hall rentals, lodge calendars, Masonic items of interest and, there are spaces available if you would like to advertise your business. I ask if you or anyone you know buy items from Amazon.com please link through our web site and we will receive 4% of your purchase. This could amount to a nice income for the THC if everyone takes advantage of this. The site also includes a pay-pal option if you would like to make a donation to the THC using your credit card online. This is just one of the new and innovative ways we are trying to generate income to offset the THC debt.

Our Senior Warden Bob and Junior Warden Logan have both taken turns in the East conducting the Lodge meetings. Brother Jon Zeigler has given a presentation at our last meeting on the Masonic influence in the labor movement in this country. I have contacted Brother Tom Russell to give a presentation on the Masonic presence in the revolutionary war. We will try to have this presentation at a future meeting. Luis Gonzales represented us at the Cub Scout Blue and Gold dinner, he reported that we were recognized for our support of the pack. We have initiated 5 new Entered Apprentices and have 4 more scheduled in the next few weeks. We try to do the degree work on special meeting nights so as not to make meeting nights to long.

You can see many things are happening in and around the Lodge. Even though Lodge attendance continues to grow I encourage you to try and attend one meeting a month. I would like to thank each of you who attended our Open Installation of Officers. Those who missed it certainly missed a fine affair. The meal prepared by the O.E.S. Chapter 29 was outstanding on behalf of my fellow Officers once again thank you the members of O.E.S. Chapter 29 for your effort in making the evening a HUGE success. I think a special thank you is in order for Brother Marcus Henry for the exceptional photographs he took before and during the ceremony. Marcus then downloaded these pictures to his laptop and provided us with a slide show immediately following the Installation. These pictures can be found on our WebPages.

I know we have a great group of Officers this year and they are eager to get down to the business of the Lodge. Our first priority will be Degree work we have many candidates waiting to be initiated. We will try to do this on the Wednesdays when we do not have a regular communication. Please try to attend as many of these special meetings as possible for two reasons first it lets the Officers know you support them and secondly the candidates are always impressed when a large number of members are present.

You know I and the Officers are here to serve you. Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the Officers. In return we ask on small favor please try to attend at least one meeting a month. We try to keep them brief and to the point plus we are trying to have at least one topic of interest discussed at each meeting. See you at the next meeting
